Rachel Milbourn, MSW, LCSW
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina (#CO13484) and a registered telehealth provider in South Carolina. I earned a master’s degree in social work from University of North Carolina Charlotte and a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Florida State University. I am a certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist through Evergreen.
As the founder of Sage Counseling and Consulting, I am dedicated to fostering hope, wisdom, and authentic connection. My clinical practice centers on a strengths-based approach, empowering autistic teens, adults and their families to cultivate communication, relationships, and life skills for self-determined success. I encourage social connectedness in the growth process and help clients “find their tribe” by exploring and connecting to communities with shared values and interests. I am grounded in trauma-informed care, with training in several trauma interventions including Internal Family Systems (IFS) and the Neurosequential Model through the Child Trauma Academy.
Drawing on my experience in behavioral health and education, I also consult with organizations to build neurodivergent-affirming and trauma-informed environments. My goal is to help organizations align their actions with their values, creating cultures where everyone can thrive.
