While maintaining healthy professional boundaries is essential to this alliance, the therapist’s authenticity and genuine care for the client are also essential. The quality of the therapeutic relationship is the foundation for effective therapy.
Rachel utilizes multiple therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavioral, Internal Family Systems, and somatic therapies. She was trained by the Child Trauma Academy in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics which is a neurobiological approach to understanding and treating trauma.
Rachel provides Christian counseling, but welcomes people from all perspectives.
